Surviving The Floods: Tip of the Moment

There has been a lot of rain this weekend in the Northeast. A whole lot of rain. Enough to cause some serious flooding.

Basement flooding, water behind your walls, water in your car’s engine, these can all be serious problems. We can help you with these. Before it gets to that point, it’s a good idea to take some preventative measures (though if you haven’t by now you’re probably out of luck).

Tip of the moment: know the road conditions.

My favorite way to keep updated on road conditions (and a whole lot of other transportation issues) is by following The Massachusetts Department of Transportation on Twitter. It’s their job to know these things and your job sit back and be notified when something is going wrong.

While you’re at it you can follow us on Twitter as well, or head to new Wolpert.com for anything else.

*That is actually a picture of me stuck in a flood in Indiana. Thankfully we’re not quite at that level of disaster yet.
